Are you sure? Are you saying you already know the Jan 2010 rates (with or without that extra 25%)? How? PENFED never says the rates until the first of the month, so why would they advertise a rate higher in Jan than Dec so early? I'm confused.

Serves AMTRUST Right for double dipping on my funds and screwing up ACH on me.

I had an account with them and I kept finding things like bogus fees to my account. They also had an ACH transaction go 2 times, messed up my address and never sent me a welcome letter.

Service was the most horrific of all the banks I have used.

They were a bunch of con artists

Wings Financial FCU dropped it rates today! Damn! Still good compared to the market (which sucks!), but not so good as it was.

1 year CD down to 2.4% APY (was 2.63).

Investment Money Market account, which had offered 2.12% APY for $100,000 and up now offering 2.02 APY.

USAA has nothing to hide, just good banking. If you don't have good gredit, then their other products, such as insurance, & loans (if you can even get one) are not at the peak of other competitive banks. Overall, this bank is a great place to be.
