5.45% 4-Month Online CD at Bank of America in Some States read and submit comments for this post

Bank of America is offering some competitive rates on its 4-month High Yield CD that's only available online. The yield ranges from 5.10% to 5.45% APY based on your state. The minimum deposit is $5,000.

I've tested this out with many different states. Most states only have a yield of 5.10% APY. Florida and Illinois have a 5.35% APY. I've found 5 states which have the 5.45% APY. These include New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware.

With this CD and the Bank of America high yield money market account, it seems decent rates are becoming more common at Bank of America. But you have to know where to look and be willing to open accounts online. I hope we see more of this from BoA.
